Strawberry smoothie

Fancy a fresh, fruity treat that is as delicious as it is simple to make? This strawberry smoothie is the perfect answer! Ideal as a quick breakfast, healthy snack or cooling drink on a hot day. And the best part? You only need a few ingredients and it will be on the table in no time. Let's get started!

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or agave syrup
  • 5 Ice cubes
  • 1 sprig of mint

Preparation

Start by washing the fresh strawberries and removing the crown. If you use frozen strawberries, you can skip this step - they are already nice and cold. Next, cut the banana into pieces so that it is easier to blend. Grab your blender and put in all the ingredients: the strawberries, the banana pieces, the milk, and if you like some extra sweetness, a tablespoon of honey or agave syrup. Finally, add a few ice cubes for an extra fresh touch.

Turn on the blender and blend everything on high speed to a smooth, creamy smoothie. This usually only takes 30 to 60 seconds. Taste to see if the flavour is to your liking.

Would you like it a bit sweeter or is the smoothie a bit too thick?

Add a little more honey or pour in a splash of extra milk and blend again briefly.

Pour your smoothie into a nice glass and make it extra festive with a few pieces of strawberry or a sprig of mint as garnish. And voilà, your delicious strawberry smoothie is ready to enjoy!
